We only had one coach get ejected. The other person (Jack) is an out of control staffer who should not be in the dugout going forward

Leggett thought they were going to eject the player who slammed the bat down after hitting the home run. As the umpires were coming together Leggett came out of the dug out and yelled at the umpires that is F’n Bull Shxt. Leggett was immediately ejected and the head ball coach came out to argue that ejection and got thrown out. I’m not sure what he said.

Well I don’t blame him at all, the fact they even were discussing tossing mathes is an absolute joke and shows the idiocy of that crew… I get it he stared down the pitcher or I don’t know , talked trash to every infielder rounding the bases (Louisville) , but god forbid the kid in extras hits a hr to take the lead and gets excited and slams the bat looking at his team mates , my lord sports have become soft as hell.

I heard that he went out on to the field and stomped on home plate & of course that will be taken as showing up the umpires....I just wondered if he was thinking that Mathes was ejected for throwing his bat?

Not his job to go on the field for any reason. He is not the Assistant HC or even a coach

They did their job. They stuck up for their players and for each other. Apparently that's a big no no.

I think that they came out of the dugout too quick when the home run was hit. If I’m not mistaken, I think the rule says that the ball is still in play until it clears the wall. That’s the only thing I can figure took place.
