Other schools just don't know what that is. I'm sure if the community organizer in chief was still in office ms. staley would crawl nekid over broken glass to go see him (sorry for that visual!)
On a related note, the White House visit earlier this year was a fantastic and once in a lifetime experience for the entire Clemson football team. Glad our guys were afforded that opportunity.

Clemson got the invite and got to go 5 months after the title game. They also got to go in the summer when practices were not in session and when they wouldn't be in session anytime soon.
I doubt Clemson would be going if they were invited in football season. But they did not have to face that scenario.
Staley was very clear when they won the title that they would go. I am sure she did not think it would be 7 months before an invite came, and that the invite would be in basketball season.

What a disgrace! Should be teaching the kids to respect the office of the President. Once in a lifetime opportunity to meet President Trump. Very disapointed in the coach and USC Adm. for not accepting the invitation.

Staley said they wouldn't go after practices started.
Kudos to her for sticking to what she stated after not receiving an invite for 8 months.
I am sure she'd go if the players really wanted to do so.
Considering Trump's under 40% approval, they are fine.

We won the NC in January and went to the WH in June. Works out great because our season hadn't started yet.
SC won the NC in April. Going in Oct/Nov isn't practical since the new season had already started.
Most MLB/NBA teams time out their WH visit the next time the team plays close to DC.
I doubt that we would have taken a day off from practice once the season started to go travel to DC.
