The horse leads wire to wire and goes home with nothing. That’s a crying shame.

Just think about how owner Gary West and trainer Jason Servis have got to be feeling about right now thinking they had won the biggest race in horse racing only to find they have been disqualified

There was nothing coot about that win. The coots don't win anything important in any manner.

Yes, and no. He was a one and done horse. Left after his freshman season so he could train as a 3-year-old.

Rail is the gold standard in horse racing. You have the rail you keep the rail. Took a lot of kohannas for the officials to make the right call. He drifted up 5 lanes off the rail, how do you argue that? Tough call but right call.

5th rail? That is a heck of exxaggeration 3rd at most. The declared winner lost by 2 lengths and was not impeded at all. Sad day for the Derby.

He did impede, but why let facts get in the way of a good story.

Horse the crossed the finish line first at yje Derby was disqualified 20 minutes later because the horse drifted a few lanes over messing up the other horses. He didn't stay in his lane.

Maybe on a dry track you make that call, but in those conditions the jockeys are just doing good to keep the horse upright.
