Wesco + Moore = Nuk + Sammy?

Getting pretty excited for these two. Moore looks like he can snag just about any ball thrown his way (a lot of the times with only one hand) and Wesco is going to be a problem.
I don't think they correlate directly to Nuk + Sammy but man, I am excited to have some talent back on the boundary and over the middle.
Couple them with Antonio Williams + Tyler Brown + a Tight End?!?
Can't be stopped.
p.s. I'm sure we get an absolute unit or two from the portal.

Slow down Half. Remember, the high school competition they are scoring against pretty much stinks compared to the dudes they'll be going against in college. But, I hope they do turn out great for us.

We might someday get another WR comparable to Nuk, Sammy is like TL and CJ. We'll see many good QB's, WR's and RB's come and go but none comparable to those three.

hype in the world about Sammy. So much so, I thought "There's no way this kid can live up to the hype!" And then he hit the field, and MORE than lived up to it all.
If Nuk had the kind of breakaway speed Sammy had, there wouldn't be enough money in the NFL to pay him.

I’m excited they are Tigers too. But I also realize that putting all your eggs in their basket as true freshman is very tigernetish. Best thing would be to find a guy you like from the portal, and combine their potential with someone that you know can get the job in case they aren’t ready.
Or don’t, and have no passing game for the 4th straight year. I know we like Williams and Brown snd they are good players. But they also aren’t close to the guys we’ve had in the past on the inside. The others are just so ineffective that they stand out.

With there size and skill set, I see alot more Higgins and Williams in them than Sammy and Nuk. But they are going to be special I know that.

Short answer.........Nope. Sammy was a 4.33 sprinter and had hands like fly paper. Neither of these guys can do anywhere near that. Nuke was a great route runner and developed great hands while here. These 2 can be good but please don't make them be Nuk & Sammy cause they never will.

If we can just get a quartet of guys (maybe Wesco, Moore, Noble Johnson, Randall) who can mix it up at X and Z, boundary guys who will fight and win 50/50 balls, back shoulder throws and jump balls, THEN we can use Turner and Williams in the slot(s) and carve up a D. We do need a line that can give Cade or whoever three seconds or more, though.
While it would be nice, we don't need another Sammy or Nuk to win a natty. We just need guys who will catch what's thrown to them to move the sticks. Every once in a while, them breaking one would be a bonus. We just need guys who can catch. Stellato ain't it. Turner, Hanafin, Greene, Spector, Sapp, Patt-Henry ... we got a lot of guys on the roster who just can't contribute. I don't know who's offering these guys, but they really need to stop.

2 incoming frosh will contribute during their first season but I don't think that they will both be on the level of Sammy and Nuk.
