Sammy Brown is a player and all over the place. He just doesn't have enough upper body strength. Same with Carter.
We need to make first contact, final contact.

A team full of undersized underclassmen takes a few years to develop. Unfortunately we need them to be ready as freshmen.

I promise you these guys are strong a plenty. The question is how does that weight room strength relate to tackling and taking the right angle and tackling below the knees.

I played in high school a little and know how hard it is to meet and stand up a big body in motion.
In practice our all world RB would run a sweep and I knew there was no chance he wasn't going to drag me no matter how much effort I gave. But then again I wasn't a D-1 player.

Wes has had a statistically worse defense year over year. BV overcame our S&C issues, Wes cannot. He needs to go, at least back upstairs if not out the door
