If you're not going to call the time out then the lead dribbler needs to just take it coast to coast and not stop or pick up his dribble

I thought that might happen.. i was thinking he would try and take it coast to coast and if he didn't see anything after crossing half court, just call a timeout.

Because you don’t let Virginia set their defense. Their “pack line” is built to stop the drive. The problem is that you need high-IQ players who should have know to drive against a UVA defense that was not able to get set up. Which apparently we don’t have.
