We're not good enough to be ranked

Despite the fact that we REALLY beat the number one team in the nation, but yet we are good enough to be on ESPN Pugh two weeks in a row. What is your opinion of the polls? That is, beside the fact they are a popularity party.

I do think were way better than a good bit of these ranked teams but we all know that we have to start finishing teams off when we have the chance. Could of end the FSU game at least 4 different times. But this team will finish the year highly ranked, just watch.

America front end loads the SEC into the polls every year.

I'm use to it. Plus, the committee will meet in a little over five more weeks and evaluate this situation with much almost no preconception and little if any bias.
Polls smolls!

Just win and polls and respect take care of themselves. We know Clemson is #### good and I expect 9-2 going into SC. Then 10-2 with a chance for 11 wins with bowl win.

You are right, but so is CUPeak19. They do load the polls on the front end.

when an unranked SEC team beats one of the pre-season ranked SEC darlings (usually in the Top 10), then obvious they both should be ranked in the top 20. Obviously.

And we should do just that. We're a solid team and should be favored in every game. Let these alleged good, ranked teams beat one another and it'll even itself out. We'll be up there pretty high after we finish off scar. And we'd have won nine in a row at that point. Few, if any, will be able to say that.

We are 1-2 so no we should not be ranked . Win out and the Tigers will be top 10 at 11-2. A 10 game win streak would have us sitting good for the preseason polls in 2015

My opinion of polls is that they shouldn't be released until mid-Oct.

Beating the Tarholes can get us back into the top 25. Winning out would find us doing great. We can.

#6 and #1 on the road respectably that they would be 20-25.. esp if you are SEC. Well, maybe not any other, but you get the idea. Yes, I think we are good enough, but to be fair, we haven't gotten it done.

willing to give Clemson its just-due in the polls; thus, I don't buy into this "us against them" attitude.
Win football games, and we move up; lose, and we move down. Now, of course, there will always be a certain amount of prejudicial voting, but the "favoritism" is loyalty to particular programs, conferences. That's been the case since polling began.
Do we deserve to be in the top 25 now? I think it'll take a couple of major routs against opponents before we crack it again, as voters will want to see if we can get our offense to gel and eliminate self-inflicted super blunders.

Some of you pups should listen to the wise old sage. Hartins is correct. We get lots of love from the polls when we give them a chance. Right now, two loses is big. After seven or eight games, two losses will get you in the top 25.

We are 1-2. No 1-2 team should be ranked. It will all come out in the wash.
