The injury happened after Louisville. Regardless, he should be about ready. I have broken my foot and was good to jog again in a month and I did not receive near the medical car that he did.

but I just don't see him needing to play.
People always bring up Wake being ahead of UofL in the 4th quarter when they talk about how dangerous they can be, but UofL gained 421 yards in that game and got 5.2 yards per play. The only reason they didn't have a lot more points was that they fumbled it three times and had 11 penalties for 89 yards.
Just for kicks, here's what UofL's defense did to Wake: 10 points; 3 int's; 100 total yards, -22 rushing; and 8 sacks.
Clemson's offense is, I think, better than UofL's offense without Davante Parker, so I think Clemson should be able to put up better numbers than UofL did.
Jimbo Fisher said Wake's defense was the best they'd played, but FSU put up 475 yards on them and FSU was up 30-3 going into the 4th. They also rushed for 171 yards on Wake, and we know FSU doesn't run the ball well.

or maybe he could play "some" just to knock the rust off. i for the life of me cant understand some of you. you complain about cole then dont want watson to play. do you really think the medical staff would turn him loose unless he was ready.

I think it's stupid to put him out there just because a fan thinks he ought to "knock some rust" off if the coaches don't think that's necessary or advisable.
I also have no problem with Stoudt playing, as long as we're able to win with him in there. Obviously we all want Watson back, but we want him back healthy and we don't want to get reinjured.

I had a hard time convincing the trainers there...they act like they know everything. Any who, we should see Watson for WF. I told him if his hand starts to hurt, use the other one....we should be fine.

I would like to see Watson play one series per quarter to see how he looks. If he looks good and we need to score use him a little more. Would also like to see Nick some. We need him to get some experience.
I will add, if Watson is fully healthy against SC and Dabo puts Cole in like he did against UNC, he is asking to be beat.
