being from this area...Wake Forest High School puts out some serious D1 talent. Even up the road their rival Heritage has a RB that will be on NCSU this season and they landed Drake Thomas for this recruiting cycle. Wake Forest starts them young with a really really good pop warner team.

Do the OSU Bucknuts even evaluate players and watch film ?

Or do they just follow who we offer and then offer a couple days later ?
^^^ This seems to be Urban's grand plan in recruiting ^^^

No argument there. Although this is a smaller fish (metaphorically definitely not physically) than they're used to going after so that's a positive sign on his talent level

and threw his out there so that it wouldn't look like his grand scheme of offering everybody that we offer... he's wily as that ole coyote I tell you...

Hear he's a good kid with a lot of potential. His family relocated to NC after Katrina.

idiots on this board are going to realize the difference between a 5 star DT and a 3 star DT when Big Dex and CW leaves.

Grady Jarrett, DJ Reader, DeShawn Williams all say hello...

we are not going to get every recruit we deem #1 on our board, and consider some of the character that comes with some of those 5 stars, we don't want them either... there are a lot of 5 stars that we thought that we wanted that didn't perform up to their rating and plenty of 3 stars that were not highly thought of that we wished we had gotten...
like Forrest Gump would say, recruiting is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get...
