It would be tough to have to grind it out against Vandy, UK, Mizzou, MSU, Ole Miss, Gators and Auburn every year - kind of like playing in the ACC. IF the lamecocks are the proxy, then I think we will be ok.

They beat Florida and Allbarn last year...that USuC team who was crushed by one of our worst teams in 8+ years.
Let's suppose we had USuC's SEC schedule last year:
UGA - we know, very close
Kentucky - win
Tennesee - win
Texas A&M - toss-up, close
Florida - win
Auburn - win

And last year surely wasn't one of our best years in a long time, like since 2010!!!

PLUS, PLUS, PLUS, if we were in the SEC, we would surely recruit even better than we do now, and I say bc we don't get a lot of Elite recruits only bc we're in the ACC!!!

True but even last season without QB only lost to National Champ UGA by his big 6. Even last year had we been in SEC would have been top 3/4. Alabama finished second but they weren't really natural Bama. Officials saved them at least 3 games last year

Clemson fans, if they join the SEC, have a big wake up call coming. For the life of me, I can't figure out why most Clemson fans think they are going to conquer the SEC, no sweat.

I know Saban and Alabama don't. We know USC doesn't. Schedule wise looks like UGA Auburn and LSU okay with out joining. History wise I don't really feel UGA fan wanted them to drop Clemson when with TAMU and Mizzou joining in turn SEC made team add one more conference game

seems like everyones argument is the same that we would have stiffer comp and would be beat up more..okay that may be true but what always gets ignored is our already great recruiting will get even better

Just bc he didn't do much in the SEC, it doesn't have a bearing on how Dabo would. Plus I think there is some kind of strife between Danny, and Dabo bc, there has been several occasions that Danny didn't speak of Dabo, or what he has accomplish at Clemson in a positive way!!!

The only way Clemson should stay in ACC is it they added Nebraska TCU SMU the OSU (in Oklahoma) WV Iowa State

FYI Danny Ford I was in Miami watching ya'll beat Nebraska for Nation Championship. Your Clemson teams kicked SEC butt. You never Coached like ACC Coach you coached more like SEC like Dabo does. Weren't you Bama under Bear and Dabo Bama under Stallings. Dabo if Clemson joins SEC for first 4 SEC games home games Danny Ford should be Co-Head Coach just to show Clemson Pride and History. Plus every game against UGA and Bama. Clemson would have had 4 more National Titles if Furman AD didn't fire Ford. 2022 will be another Clemson Natty. Under Ford 1980 UGA won got title 1981 CU won got title. Last year UGA won got Natty. 2022 gonna get the Cade going to get the Natty. Hopefully when get to SEC Clemson can expand to 110,000 seats with Ford section added around the Hill. Playing mayor SEC teams sell out always.

Coach Ford if your teams in the SEC you still would have kicked SEC butt. Clemson's best Coaches taken from Alabama God Bless you being one of them.

First season in SEC Tigers loose 2 conference games at the most. Though doubt that many.

Last year, Clemson barely beat Boston College, NC State, and Syracuse. We are talking getting lucky to win by single digits. You got creamed by Pittsburgh, and you lost to the only decent SEC team you played. Let's have a little humility here, okay?
