Tonight's NFL game is a perfect example of how a playoff

ENHANCES the regular season. With a system like CFB uses this game is meaningless....In the NFL it has major playoff implications.

If CFB was set up like the NFL we could just play all of our walk ons instead this week and it wouldn’t matter if we lose. You would like that wouldn’t you coot?

You realize you have to do more then win your division to get HFA throughout the playoffs right? The panthers in 2015 won the division with a 11-0 start and did not clinch the #1 seed (HFA throughout the playoffs) until they won their 15th game.... CFB sucks now and I have quit going to the games because they’re meaningless. Just saying

If I didn't know better I would call you a coot. Based on your pulse you must either be a coot or Tavien Feaster. Wait nevermind.....

Goofball.
The NFL expanded the playoff format to manipulate the casual fans into caring about their teams farther into the season.
Just like all pro sports, when fans don't show up for games or TV ratings tank, teams and leagues hemorrhage cash and entire leagues can go bankrupt.
College football usually doesn't have that problem. Attendance and passion are far more consistent regardless of the quality of a team's season, and even in a down year your school doesn't have to worry about making payroll.
But by all means, feel free to keep finding ways to ruin the only great sport we have left, all in the name of making it "fair". It's what we do in America.

CFP is so easy to fix. All P5 conference champions get in. Next group of 5 meeting criteria or wins losses, next best available, and play first round at home. Would end this non sense and Clemson gets to crush a new “opponent” who thinks they deserve to be there.

Bama loses close with TUA probably, they already put Bama in over a big 10 champ before
