If the win out and win the SEC, we all know that a 2 loss SEC Champ is gettin' in.

I really don't think it's a pass. They really wouldn't be back in the running without so many teams in the race losing. It also helps that they have and will play teams ahead of them in the rankings in Georgia and Alabama. I can't argue with them making it in if they manage to win out. They would have two wins over Georgia with the first one at least being in dominant fashion, and they would have a win over Alabama. If they beat Bama next week they would have beaten the #1 team in the country twice in a 3 week time period. Also, one of their losses was on the road to the defending national champions who are also ranked in the top 4. Clemson in many ways dominated that game, but the final score was still close. The LSU loss wasn't great, but LSU isn't exactly a bottom feeder.

Losing in the SEC, “it just means more”.

Auburn blew a 20 point lead to a team that can't score 20 points. They are getting dinged for that.
They also lost to a team in the top 4 so they get bonus points for that.

LSU was not ranked at the time. They were 4-2 after getting destroyed by Miss State and losing to Troy.

They are not getting a pass at all for that loss

If they had not lost to LSU they would probably now at least be in the top 4. Since the lost to us they would probably be placed right below us or possibly even higher. If Auburn wins out, beating Bama and UGA twice they will be in the playoff and well deserve to be in. Right now they are not getting a pass for either of their losses but working their way back in just like Clemson has had to do. If we get past Miami we are in and Miami my also be in even with the loss. I heard on the radio this morning that the FPI gives a 26% chance of the final four being Clemson, Miami, Auburn and Oklahoma. The chances of two SEC teams being in are much less than two ACC teams. Who woulda thunk it?
