We should be ahead of USC....

Looking at schedule, wins against current CFP Top25 teams, losses against current CFP Top25 teams and wins against Power5 teams with a winning record we should be at 7 right now... they really want a PAC12 team... Michigan also has a really weak schedule, Penn State is the only quality win they have.
Yea we lost to ND bad, but then the following week rebounded and beat a pretty good Louisville team that had a 4 game win streak and 5 of their last 6 (loss was to BC after Cunningham was hurt and did not play the 2d half, they were winning when he went out).

USC loss by 1 (on a touchdown in the final minute, where Utah then went for 2 for the win) against the #10 team, where we lost by 21 to the #18 team.
If you switched losses and the margins of defeat we would probably be 6, ahead of Alabama, USC, and LSU

Doesn’t really matter at this point. If they finish out the season without another loss, they will have had to beat a ranked UCLA on the road, a ranked ND at home, and another ranked opponent in the P12 championship game. I don’t expect they will be able to do that, but if they do then they will deserve to be ahead of us… although I do agree with you
As far as 2 loss LSU and BAMA: we will jump BAMA when(if) we beat UNC. And I think we all know LSU will pick up another loss, so we’ll definitely be ahead of those 2

USC-ND is big for us from a comparative perspective. If USC handles business then that makes our road a little steeper.

Don't worry about the rankings. Just win the games on the schedule and the rest will work itself out.

UCLA, Notre Dame, and the PAC Championship game. If they win those three they deserve to be in.
I think they’ll lose one.
