We lost a BIG Tiger fan tonite

Daddy grew up going to games with my two uncles. He watched Danny coach em to a Championsip. He worked 12 hour shifts in a textile plant to send me to the school he loved so he could watch his son be the first in his family to earn a degree. He lost his fight with cancer tonite. He's already missed.

I grew up in the middle of "red mud and starvation" (the textile industry) and witnessed how hard these people worked to earn a living.Thank God there were men like your father(and mine) who were willing to make these sacrifices so that we could have better opportunities. May he rest in peace with our Heavenly Father. Sorry for your lose,but he is in a better place.

Sounds like the kind of dad I had. Mine passed away 37 years ago, time will not erase your memories. You and I will make that journey some day and our Dads will meet us at the gate, just keep on loving him and The Tigers.
