WG had zero coaching experience- any DC from any power 5 conference would have won us 2 more games this season.

I mean this in the nicest way possible. I have 2 years of actual 11 v 11 tackle football experience in my entire life.
I was absolutely terrible at the sport, and thats being nice.
I could have done what Wes did this season. Easily. I mean hands down easy money.

I admit that I am not qualified to be a D1 DC.
as long as we are on the same page with a baseball stat guy not being the landing spot for one of the best programs in college football
I don't think anyone on here would think we have a full grasp of a DC position, but I think almost everyone agrees that Wes did not either.

Wes was a poor hire and that absolutely proved to be the case as the defense saw a consistent and significant decline during his tenure.

BV don't have what Dabo has earned himself as our HC, and a Wes hire at Oklahoma could be a hire for BV that could finally push him out the door!!!

Agree. Got worse each year. Recruiting went down as well on Defense each year.

Disagree. Dabo got to the mountain top hiring the best coaches available. Names no one dreamed would come to Clemson. Home run hire or bust. Period. We pay well. We perform well. We recruit well. We win hardware. What coach wouldn’t want to coach at Clemson?!
