Still tough to say anything definitively other than Norvell is someone Alabama is looking at, but it's also fair to say he's also not their first choice. My Alabama source believes they are negotiating with multiple parties as the same time and that Norvell is a fallback choice. Either way, it looks like Norvell will be getting a significant raise one way or another. If there's a positive from this, I don't think we'll have to wait too long to find out about his future.

He's probably the 5th choice after Smart (would never leave), Lanning (turned them down), Sarkisian (probably won't leave), and DeBoer. I think DeBoer will be the choice, but if he turns them down, it will probably be Norvell and Dabo as the top candidates.

I'm surprised Sarkisian isn't getting more press. He's a great coach and if his addiction issues are under control, he'd be my top choice among the Not Dabos. He can coach circles around Norvell.
