of the Cadillac we did have we now have a Chevy. However, it is hard to Judge Riley because Cade continues to make mistakes. Yes, less than before but mistakes he should not be making at the end of 3 years with 2 of that a starter. Once he makes those routine plays then you can judge Riley. Many times the plays are there but Cade does make them.

Totally agree,Cade doesn’t seem to have that ability to settle down when needed. I think his mind is racing and he can’t read the situation. You would think he would have grown out of that by now. I guess it’s like students that just don’t test well. Get to worked up and mind becomes fog

I'd say Cade's play and decision making is night and day to what it was last year. Can it get better? Sure. It also doesn't help when we continually need to have him put the game on his back because we're getting absolutely nothing out of our running game due to being hurt, running scared, or just plain being timid.

If that's your argument then every single missed tackle where we had sellers in the backfield can't be blamed on Wes Goodwin

Correct? Wes game plan is supposed to have people in positions to make tackles. He can't make tackles for them just like Riley can't throw the ball for Cade

Either hold them both to the same standard or not at all

Goodwin has less grace now though since he has been here longer and there has certainly not been the lack of talent that the offensive side of the ball has had. But GR has not been great.
