Very disingenuous to use unc game in 19' as an example. Outside of that game, no other game was close. We blew everyone out of the water. I do agree with the 16' team, however. That team had 7 games on wins by less than 7 points. This years team is similar to that one. If they could just put everything together we would be dangerous.

I think we have a good shot at the playoffs. However, I'd be very worried about our defense going up against an elite offense.

I think we make the playoffs with a 12 team field. I just don’t see us getting very far unless we get a favorable draw like the basketball team did earlier this year

I think we're okay.
Our offense is definitely improved, but people are getting fooled by the offense's ability against terrible defenses (all of our top offensive performances were against bottom 25 defenses). I dont think its elite atm. And the defense obviously has been extremely disappointing for some reason (I really don't get how the fundamentals degraded so much with the same players and coaching staff).
I think we're a top 20 team. So we'd be on the cusp of being a playoff team in the expanded playoffs. But any of the top 5 teams would beat us pretty bad.

In a 12 team playoff field we are most definitely worthy and would be one of the better teams in there. Just get in and anything can happen.
