We are 7 - 3 with 3 losses to good teams

We had a whole lot to replace on the Offensive side and with lackluster OL play and Cole Stoudt not exactly being capable, this is about where I expected us to be. We played hard up until today, where I could not see our offense gaining any traction at all against a pourus GT defense. We made them look really good today, and with the talent we put on the field at skill positions why can we not move the ball ? Our offensive line, patchwork that it is, cannot perform up to the level needed. Injuries are a huge reason of course and this year has been horrific.

Without a QB who can lead the talent and take advantage of a mismatch, read a defense, made the correct adjustments while scanning the D then we will continue to struggle just like we have. Watson is a rare talent but his physicality has been called into question and seems to have an injury bug which could become very problematic long term for this young man. I like that we have 2 guys coming in next year to help us out because we may very well need it given the history of Watson.

I am disgusted with what has turned out to be a poor offensive year when we had such a great D. Other than Gurley and Co. torching us in the 1st game, we have played well and even today played good enough to win. Hold GT to 28, I expect to win but our offense just cannot get it done.

Is it heart ? Determination ? Coaching ? Talent ? Execution ? Injuries ? All or none of these ?

Far too many questions, and coaching should not be one of them with the staff we have in place. Lots of people questioning Chad and the playcalling and while I am no expert,we sure do not take many shots down the field on post routes or slants which would appear to be open, or is it just me ?
