Adams and Lawson want to play together. That's only possible at Auburn and Clemson but Auburn is all but done due to the coaching change. Yet Adams is a Clemson/UGA battle and the D Line coach at UGA which Adams was high on left for Auburn. *scratches head*

Jenkins

Great article, but I wanted to comment on one thing that really bothers me. Did anybody else catch the reference to Jenkins at Tennessee? Not only did he make a bad choice by turning his back on his brother and the Clemson program, but now he's trying to convince Lawson to join him in Loserville as well. Wasn't this the same guy that one month ago was pumping Clemson to Lawson? IF I were him (Lawson that is), I wouldn't listen to a word coming out of this man's mouth...

Tenn is Ryan Jenkins dream school because Tenn was actually good when he was there with his dad. Only problem is David Cutcliffe is at Duke for a reason and the youngster has missed that most important point.
I wish him well on rebuilding past Vandy before he graduates. Actually, I don't Vandy is the only SEC team that I like.

TU! You are all over it! Jenkins needs to get into the 21st century, grow a pair and realize he has chosen poorly and not try to negatively influence others just because he messed up.

Tennessee now that his friend Ryan Jenkins is up there. Think about it. He gave Clemson a look because his coach at Auburn go fired and his friend was a Clemson committ. His dad says the SEC is all the buzz now and they might have a problem going ACC. Now his friend is at SEC Tennessee. Lawson will either stick with Auburn or end up at Tennessee. He will not go to Clemson.
It is amazing I could see this over a week ago when he suddenly scheduled a Tennessee visit right after Jenkins switched.
I hate to say it, but this Ryan Jenkins thing is the worst recruiting episode I can remember. Not because of Ryan, he was a dime a dozen and has already been replaced. But because of the way he and his dad strung Clemson along even with his brother playing for Clemson. Then he gets to UT and starts recruiting against Clemson. I know it's wrong, but I home Martin gets passed over on the depth chart here. I really don't care to see a member of that family play on our field.

It's not Martin's fault. Life is about choices and Martin made the best choice. If we end up with 11 or 12 wins, an ACC championship and a shot in the play off match-ups, well just imagine the Thanksgiving conversation at the Jenkins home

Through and through that kid bleeds orange, Clemson orange.
There is always a smarter, more athletic, better brother and the one that I just described is already in college.

Unbelievable post. Martin is here, wearing orange and you take his brother's decision out on him??? And you assume that Carl Lawson, a far superior player to Ryan Martin, doesn't have a mind of his own?? Hard to believe you are really a CU fan and not an interloper trying to poison this board.

Absolutely right. It's venomous posts like his that really harm recruiting. Again, I wonder where he's really coming from.

Do you think you could wager a guess on who's the most likely to sign with Clemson come Feb. 6th, or chances in general with these men?
If you've given your report elsewhere, my bad. I'm just eager for info like a cat for nip....catnip....

Put a fist in the dirt in the Valley then I will get excited.
I read a blurb the other day about a recruit that said he chose clemson because he wanted to disply his talents for the NFL.
That just does not sit right with me.

day of playing for the NFL.
Not every kid will make it but it's the ultimate dream for these kids. And if these kids feel that Clemson is a place that could lead the way to an NFL career then I feel that it speaks volumes of our program and the direction it's headed.
