Ways to stop Bama running game

A friend and I were talking tonight about the potential for Bo Scarborough being hard to take down and the idea came up to drop Wilkins back to MLB sandwiched by Boulware and Joseph. You'd have a DL of Bryant, Watkins/Pagano, Lawrence/Pagano, and Ferrell. Would it be easy for someone as talented and fast for 300 lbs like Wilkins to move to MLB? I think it souls a little Playstation like, but just curious of opinions. I would have to imagine it would be a nightmare for Bo to get past our front and run into Wilkins.

If your tackling fundamentals are sound and you don't hit a guy that size above the waist; they all go down.

Henry had one big play against us last year and and was

almost inconsequential most of the game and he was...cough...cough...the greatest running back ever.
Why shouldn't we able to stop Bo?
I haven't watched all their games this year: Is he as good as Henry? Is their line better than it was last year? Or as our defense that much worse against the run than last year?

Bama's OL is likely better this year -- almost all seniors.***

I'm not sure what their ranking was last year but it was most likely better, they also rank around 40th in sacks given up. This isn't your usual dominate bama line, and they've done it in one of the worst years in SEC recent history.

Henry was inconsequential? Wanna know how I know you didn't watch the game?
36 carries, 158 yards for a 4.4 ypc, and 3 touchdowns.
I would do my happy dance if Gallman was as "inconsequential" this year as Henry was last year...

I watched the Washington game and most of the time, the defenders tried to tackle him high. That is why he had so many yards after contact. We need to hit him low and he will go down easier.

He won't have time to get his speed up against us like he did against Washington. Brent will have them shooting gaps and putting him on his butt as soon as he gets the handoff.

Truly feel if Clemson plays like it has all year there won't be an issue. Bama will get there's on virtue of them pounding the rock 30+ times. They won't get much from north and south runs though. Noone has this year. The big runs are always to the outside or spectacular cutbacks. I think hurts will lead his team in rushing yards, mainly from him improvising. They'll break 150yds but can they pass the ball, I doubt it. Big Dex and Watkins/Pagano have held down the middle really well.

My thoughts.... Not necessary. Clemson has not been run on by "power", just by misdirection and speed. That is not what Bama does. Clemson should control the Bama running game.
