Way-Too-Early Predictions on 2024

467 days out. So, let Jimmy hear them. It will be interesting to see who comes the closest. Extra points for going into details that come true.
Here goes Jimmy's:
Trump sticks it out until late this year, early next year, when criminal charges in multiple venues, and the real possibility of jail time from not taking them seriously, becomes too much for what ultimately has been a failed gambit of delaying said indictments as a "political candidate." He, of course, goes without any grace, nor lending his blessing to any candidate. They'll have to grovel for that, but eventually it goes to Vivek.
Vivek doesn't make much of it however, and support splinters. DeSantis picks up the most steam, but for most of Trump's block it's Trump or nothing, so the bump is short-lived. By this time however, DeSantis has found his footing, but is in a deadlock with Pence. In the end, Youngkin gets the nod, after jumping late as Trump exits. Scott or Haley pick up the VP slot, with Haley being most likely. Scott stays in the Senate.
On the other side, Biden makes it to the primaries, and does the only smart thing he can do and picks Corey Booker as VP. It's a hailmary and works, but only so far. Biden is DOA on the campaign trail, and with Trump out of the mix, the anti-Trump vote isn't enough to carry him in the general.
Biden loses by 4.7% of the popular vote.
Youngkin does 2 terms.
Haley another 2.
Trump dies of a heart attack in 2027, and buried along the golf course at Mar-A-Lago.

Remains to be seen, but my opaque crystal ball says neither Biden nor Trump are the nominees of their respective parties.
Gavin Newsom is the Dem's candidate vs Tim Scott. Scott captures America's attention for his sunny disposition but ultimately is taken down over a dalliance with Nancy Mace who goes on national TV and brags of her conquest following a prayer breakfast in late July 2023.
Newsom wins but loses in 2028 to Nikki Haley who fails to serve out her term as AOC is proven correct and the world ends Jan 2031, exactly 12 years from her January 2019 prediction.

one a them early covenant thingies. However, OT OG Lawd don’t seem like the kinda dude that would listen if we hollered “ no takebacks!” And we are teetering on the brink of epic and Biblical stupidity.
GOP won’t sniff the WH again til they jettison Trump. Sooner the better. But they won’t do it in time for 24…Old Joe again. He was 142 yrs old when he fought Joe Lewis.

I managed to pump the brakes enough before including an epilogue that the only time anyone visits Trump's grave is while looking for a ball or finding a secluded place to urinate.

they’d hardly lose an election, let the far left be the weirdos. But embrace of the trailer park mentality seems too strong a pull for them and the Trumpy maga people aren’t just the weirdos, but the decline of civilization.

NO 2024 election happens......
Dems will get rid of Joe with 25th amendment with Uniparty help. They turn to Michele (why loose ends are being tied up)
Trump will literally crush any of the rep challengers
Major events will hold off election....

DEV should stick his hand in a blender. I don't want him to jump off a bridge or anything, just some sort of permanent, semi-mutiliation as a reminder of his time in QANON. For his own good incase he starts feeling the brain worms again.

Where do the right-wing nutjobs (here and elsewhere) get the idea that Michelle Obama is interested in running for anything? That is the weirdest speculation ever.
The contingencies... Biden would beat Trump or Desantis, so he'll stay in. If Trump drops out and Desantis can't get the nomination, Biden will step aside and the party will draft Newsome, who will win.

I think the only person that couldn't beat Biden right now is Trump. All of the rest of the candidates would carry the Independent vote vs Biden (especially if he sticks with Harris).

Real Clear Politics polling has Biden with a larger lead over Desantis than Trump. It's only slightly larger, but I find that interesting. Obviously Trump is stomping Desantis in the polls. But now the "Desantis can beat Biden and Trump can't" narrative is taking some knocks.

I think DeSantis beats Biden easily.

The entirety of the general election could be on a gag order with the exception of a headshot of either of them, and DeSantis would beat Biden by a healthy margin. Most people don't support Trump because of his politics, but because he's the biggest bucket of scum in politics today. They loathe him on a personal level. DeSantis may be a populist and a dork, but I people don't generally loathe him in the same way as Trump.
