Watching Clemson baseball games

I really didn't realize how much bigger/nicer our baseball stadium is compared to other ACC teams until I started watching road games on ESPN3. I mean seriously some of those stadiums look like high schools baseball facilities and with our new additions in the next year or two I think we'll have unquestionably the nicest park in the league.

No one has said Doug Kingsmore Stadium is a dump...

it's a beautiful facility with great press facilities and nice amenities for the fans, especially with the new chair seats. It's also on a beatiful site with the river and the mountains in the background. It's much nicer than being stuck in a warehouse district. However, the facilities that the players use every day are not up to the standards of many other schools in the ACC and especially the SEC, the teams against which Clemson recruits.

The players facilities are what are way outdated. Locker room is embarrassing. What the fan sees when they go to a game is very nice. We try to keep recruits out of the locker room.

Overall, Clemson's facility is better than those at UVA, NC State, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Duke, Wake, Va. Tech, Miami, and Maryland. Better than UNC's in some respects, not as good in others. Definitely behind in terms of player comforts. Don't know about Florida State.
