right across the border is kansas city, kansas. Its a smaller city but is with 8 minutes from Kansas City, MO. Its basically the same city just on the other side of the floodplain.

Which reminds me of a restaurant in Kansas City called Jack Stack. You guys like yourselves some burnt ends? If you ever find yourselves in KC and want to experience a little local culture, they gottem and they pretty good.

Maybe the whole city used to be on the Kansas side of the river but after a major flood the river changed it's course and went right down main street.
