Ailym Ford West Florence High School RB

Good morning. I gave this young mans name to the board several weeks ago to look up on HUDL. He is the states leading rusher, selected for the shrine bowl, and he is up for Mr. Football in SC. He had 4-5 D-2 offers. USC gave him an invite yesterday. We need this kid in a tiger uniform. Look him up, and help me get him playing for Clemson. Thanks.

Who’s scholarship is he going to take?

Maybe we take a flyer on him if we have an open spot at the end of the year, or maybe he’s a Renfrow preferred walk on spot.
There’s no way the coaches/recruiting staff aren’t aware of him. If they think he can contribute and they have room, they’ll give him a spot.
Has he camped at Clemson? If not, why? That’s how a lot of people get noticed like Greg Williams.

Please watch some film on Chez Mellusi (sp?) who is Clemson's RB commit. I think you will see the difference between a good high school running back and where Clemson's standard for the position currently sits.
Sure there are misses sometimes but I'm sure the coaches know a kid from West Florence and how he stacks up against the players they are recruiting. I'm sure the kid is a really impressive player but currently Clemson can be very picky with their takes at certain positions and running back is on that list.

Very long shot for Cain

Think we have a better shot at flipping Davis from LSU (need them to implode) or Ealy from Ole Miss (keep on doing what you’re doing, Rebs)

I expect us to flip Ealy at this point. He's a legitimate top-50 overall player - the biggest challenge will be keeping him from pro baseball.

He's 5-8, 180lbs.

If he were bigger, he'd be more highly recruited. I have a friend who's son is on the track team and says he is a "big" 180 though. Very muscular.

I think his stats haven't been updated. He is around 210. He is the kind of Kid that you want to have a chance. I know he will land somewhere, and do great things.
