Very impressed with Kevin Swint

Feb 6, 2020, 6:22 PM

He’s huge and can move very well. Hope he can maintain that size and still play Middle linebacker but can easy transition into a defensive end and do wonders! Love to see another 6’4 plus 240 mike line backer like Anthony but I like this guys speed and not too shabby in coverage. Can see Simpson moving to the mike as well but with Allen, Swint, and Simpson at linebacker that’ll be one crazy mid 3!

Our DE depth is gonna keep the LB's at LB

Don’t forget Constantin! If he is healthy he will be huge for us. Same goes for LaVonta Bentley. He will be dealing some damaging hits. Mike Jones Jr. should be solid as well. It looks like we are loaded.

Other than the DL we had in 2018, I don’t remember having as much total depth in basically all defensive positions- specifically the front 7.

It probably won't be as a freshman, but Swint will be a big time contributor to the program.

We need his brand of physicality at LB. When he hits somebody, they remember it the rest of the game.

All of this is an amazing thought and we are set for the future but I cant wait to see one more year of James Skalski cracking ribs with his helmet full of concrete.

I hope he maintains the size and speed for linebacker. I think we are deep enough at DE that a move would end up meaning transfer.

I'm with you but it's very easy to imagine him eventually growing into a stud DE that cannot be denied.

Good problem to have. :)
