This is a very controversial question…..

What weird food combos do you like? Like for instance my mom likes ketchup on pancakes. Sounds weird but I guess there are weirder combos then that. I’m very interested to here what you guys answers are.

This is meant as a completely straightforward question.
Just out of curiosity.
Can you still taste regular food?

absolutely! Once you build up a tolerance for the capsaicin, the pepper flavor is outstanding.

Gotta be extra sharp cheddar, good strawberry jam, and plain cheap white bread

Glad you at least used some good bread. Other people like sourdough bread and I don’t understand why. Sourdough literally taste like mold. I would much rather have your sandwich then a plane ham and cheese on sourdough bread.

It's not as if is she were a maniac, a raving thing. She just goes - a little mad sometimes. We all go a little mad sometimes. Haven't you

Why do dogs always race to the door when the doorbell rings? It's almost never for them.

had an Aunt that would smear yellow mustard on a banana and roll it in crushed peanuts. I thought it seemed crazy, like she was. I tried it and wasn't bad.

Eh banana and peanuts I kinda get but MUSTERED? Nah I hate mustard. Unless it’s honey mustard with chicken nuggets. Was your aunt pregnant at the time? I know some pregnant women sometimes has weird pregnancy cravings like that.

For an afternoon snack I like salted radishes with a kosher dill pickle, dried beef and saltines.... :)

That honestly sounds like something a military person would eat. Are you a vet? Or am I just reaching here. To be fair the dried beef and saltines don’t sound to bad. I hate pickles tho and have never heard of salted radishes before.

No, military school and Clemson ROTC, but not a vet.

I learned to like salted radishes from my wife. She also kept a jar of dried beef in the fridge for a snack.

I've always been a fan of Saltines, but I learned to like kosher dill spears on offshore fishing boats - after drinking beer and sweating all day and they were the only food left on the boat... mighty good on the ride home from 100 miless offshore.... :)

That’s a cool story. Lol I wonder if the first time it was a complete accident. Like maybe some mayo squirted out of a sandwich and landed on your fries.

Also I have a funny story while I'm thinking of it. When we were younger, my mom made us some fish sticks. And they really looked like French toast sticks. My brother kept crying because he didn't want ketchup and he wanted syrup and he would not give in. My mom kept trying to explain to him they were different and he would not list. She said "IF I PUT SYRUP ON THE FISH STICKS YOU ARE GOING TO EAT EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!!!" and he sure did. And from then on whenever we had fish sticks he would put syrup on them LOL

LOL that is too funny. Kinda reminds me of my mother telling my sister when she was a kid that maple syrup was cure for when she wasn’t feeling well. Funny enough it worked. I guess the placebo effect can work with both maple syrup and fish sticks. Your story made me laugh.🤣

Lol are you Florence Pugh? She is a celebrity actress that puts hot sauce on everything too. She even put hot sauce on Mac and cheese and ate it in a scene of a tv show she was in. I have to admit even tho I’m not a fan of hot sauce I actually don’t think it’s too weird if you put it on savory foods. Now if you put it on sweets then yea that’s kinda weird. I guess your the type of person to rather put hot sauce on their popcorn than butter itlol.
