but if we’re being honest, I think our fan base deserved to hear it from him, not from Indiana. As a coach myself, I look for opportunities to build relationships with fans and administrators. CBB missed a golden opportunity to do just this.

He never bonded with fan base or student body. You cut a coach some slack if you can relate and have fun with him. Brad is just not someone who connects (maybe he does with players) - but college needs more than that.
You can put up with an #### if they win a lot. If they don’t, you need to be able to relate.

As a seasoned senior exec, I often suggest to newer execs at my company that they need to look into executive coaching.
Seeing how Dabo believes in servant leadership, I am willing to bet he goes to Brad after the season and helps guide him down a similar path.

Concern with how his long-term career decisions may make the rest of us feel has never seemed an impediment to him.
I share others' hope that, with Coach Swinney's help and patient guidance, this new era of basketball prosperity will foster in CBB a more customer-centric approach to the basketball program.
