Doing everything in my power to check on the rumors. It's obvious that the OU people think they have their guy. Meanwhile, all quiet at Clemson but that is not surprising because the coaches are all out on the road recruiting. The regular sources seem to be as much in the dark as the rest of us.
I will keep working.

Clemson will be fine either way. We couldn’t blame Brent for taking that job, I would in a heartbeat. Imagine a 5 year contract with 7 million minimum for 5 years guaranteed. He would be set $ wise for life.
What would we do for a Defensive coordinator? Who would it be if Brent left?

That's what I'm thinking, and if he isn't set for life finically, he isn't, or hasn't been very smart at all with handling money. I'm betting that he's set for the rest of his life finically, and there will be a huge sum of what he and his wife has left to their kids so that they to will be set for life!!! I mean he has said at least once before that he was making more than enough money with his job at Clemson!!!

Could he hire his brother, like always? Beamer would have to stay in Cola for that to happen, so we have been told. Which doesn't make sense on many levels. About as much sense as Brent getting back under Bob's thumb again.

There sure alot of confident people in OK that think he's already sent a verbal agreement and the news should come this evening. Certainly would be a huge blow, always rumors every year with him, but this is by far the closest and most certain this time. I hope Dabo can sell his biggest pitch yet cause it's not looking good

If a program had pushed me out for a family member after giving them everything I had to give with being completely loyal to them, they wouldn't have enough money to get me back. There is this thing called principles. Push me out once when I've gave everything, shame on you. Going back to give them another chance to do it again, SHAME ON ME!!!
