I hear you! I was a Pittsburgh fan back when John McMakin and then Bennie Cunningham played for them.
I changed allegiance to San Francisco when the 49ers had Archie Reese, Jim Stuckey, and Dwight Clark. I'd say that was the best NFL team with a Clemson connection.

But don’t forget the old Packers had a big time player back in the old days. Before TV!!!

Grew up five miles on a farm from Clemson. Received an academic scholarship to Wofford. What exactly does not check out?
