Urgent need.. Prayers requested for friends baby

This is an urgent prayer request about a situation with Tracey Mitchem family as it relates to the following details. Tracey's daughter gave birth to Elijah this past Saturday. He has a heart defect and will need surgery right away. The plan is for the surgery to take place in the morning at MUSC in Charleston. This is very serious surgery and please be in prayer for the doctors and all involved that this goes well and Elijah will be on his way to recovery. Above all, we want Tracey to know we are walking with her and her family through this event and praying for healing. We all know little Elijah is in God's hand that we pray for strength and the power to trust in these tough situations... prayers to give the family strength through this storm.
I'm so glad to know there are many brothers and sisters of faith to call on here who have experienced the power of prayers both given and received.

I'll be praying for little Elijah. I have friends expecting a baby in Feb who will be born with a similar heart issue. They have met with the doctors at MUSC and learned it is among the top ten hospitals for newborn heart surgery. Prayers for all to go well for Elijah, his family, and the surgical team, and prayers of thanks that these little guys have access to top notch medical care.
