Update on my battle with the "Big C"...
Dec 5, 2017, 9:35 PM
|
|
Hell-o to All Y'all:
I sure hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are in preparation to celebrate our Lord's birthday. Here's what's going on with ol '71....
My oncologist has taken me off the two primary chemo drugs to allow my body to rest and recuperate from 18 weeks of poison. I have had to have fluid removed from the left lung sac(Plurea) every two or three weeks since this started in June. It is not an uncomfortable procedure, but necessary so my breathing does not become labored or difficult.
The last time they did it was the Monday before Thanksgiving, and they tested it for the presence of cancer. I saw my Dr. on the 29th and the report showed NO cancer cells in the fluid. This was how they found it--the cancer--back in June. I may still have cancer in the tissues, but none in the fluid. My PET scan done in June did not show any spread at that time, too.
He still has me on the immunotherapy drug every 3 weeks until after the holidays, then we'll see where we go from there. No having the chemo has been a blessing. Weight is still good. Feel good. From what I have read and researched, I may start another round of chemo later on.
Sandy says I am talking too much--again--and am back to cutting up and not making a whole lot of sense. She knows when I am like that, I am doing well. When I clam up, it's the other side.... Yes, I do get silly at times, but...who wants to FROWN???
Just want all of you to know that the Wrights really appreciate all of the prayers lifted for us. This is not the first time TNet has supported us in this way--first time was December 2008 when Dad passed away on the 14th, and again last year the end of October when Mom went to meet Dad. We are blessed to be a part of all of you and TNet and love all y'uns.
Happy "Post-" Thanksgiving and Merry "Pre-" Christmas!!!!!
and don't you just LOVE those TIGERS!!!!!!!!
Silly 71PR

My prayers are with you Bubba. I had my bout with the Big C in 2013 . My oncology team told me that I'd get better after treatment, that things would return to pretty much normal and they were right.

TRY THIS METHOD OUT
Dec 6, 2017, 8:39 AM
|

Every Morning Upon Awakening: Test your PH Levels with a urine strip. If you're body isn't alkaline, then you'll need to get there quickly!
To make your body alkaline:
STOP: Eating any meats, sugars, or unhealthy fats.
START: Eating raw organic veggies and Raw Fruit throughout the entire day. NO MORE 3 Meal Plans. Eat and eat, not only does this help metabolize your immune system, but boost your body's ability to remain healthy for life.
GO ON AMAZON: Order Organic and aluminum free baking soda along with some veggie capsules. (You'll fill them up with the baking soda powder) Every 4-6 hours you'll take four baking soda capsules with water. Otherwise you'll have a bad taste in your mouth. (YUCKY)
Throughout the day, you can do two things, 1. Drink water with squeezed lemons, and cucumbers. 2.) Take fresh Blue Berries, Acai Berries, Raspberries, and Strawberries and throw them in a juice blender and drink that twice a day. You'll need 1/2 cup of each berry for each time you drink it.
FOR CHEMO RECOVERY: You'll need to run a very hot bath, as hot as you can stand it. Add baking soda and epsom salt. 2 CUPS of Epsom Salt and 1 Full Cup of Baking Soda. You'll notice that your water will turn black. DO NOT let that startle you. It's just the bath water withdrawing the toxins from chemo out of your body. Soak for about 30 mins.
Do this until you're in complete recovery. Once you've recovered. NO MORE SWEETS, NO MORE FRIED FATTY FOODS, EAT RAW VEGGIES, Grilled Chicken, Grilled Fish, and Only Eat Red Meat 1x per week. You also need to keep drinking lemon water. HOPE THIS HELPS. GO TIGERS!
