UofSuC is proof

With all that Sorry Excuse Conference money coming in, they apparently can't build top notch facilities and a top performing football program. For the most part, they're a bunch of "it just means morans"...

UGA is a case in point.
All the $$$ in the world doesn't equate to championships.
SCAR is a total cesspool. They're like the US Department of Ed. The more money you throw at it the worse it gets.

uof6c is up to their eyeballs in debt...

which is the biggest reason CussChamp wasn't fired after the 2019 season (they can't afford the buyout).
It seems all that S-EZ money uof6c is receiving has just made them even more fiscally irresponsible and the program is continuing to spiral downward like a weak flushing toilet.

About clemson being in the acc and couldn't hack it in the sec.
If clemson can rise to this level in a pitiful basketball conference, just think what they could do with all the sec money and hype.

and they'd be a middling team if they played in the ACC now.

^^Maybe, but they're 0-5 for their last few ACC games. Not sure if they make it to "middling" in our conference. Maybe they should try Sun Belt or USA to reach middling.

The AAC is a perfect fit for them. But, then again, they’d use the excuse of all the travel for their lack of success in that conference too. They’re so used to using the excuse of their schedule they could take that mindset to the AAC & take credit for changing the culture in the conference

they also can't afford the buyouts of current staff even though many on the BOT wanted to clean house. The rumor from there is they will not afford the buyout again after next season but if another 4-8, 5-7 season is achieved then the stadium doesn't sell and renewals aren't renewed and the money will have to be found but then they will have to settle for someone who won't demand top dollar. They are between a rock and a hard place. CLEMSON to the north, UGA to the west, Tennessee rebuilding, Florida reloading, and UNC getting better, nowhere for them to recruit and face it Kentucky is rapidly getting to be more attractive in football than UofSc.
