Unofficial Official Tigernet Covid Status Update Thread:

Dec 24, 2022, 10:03 AM

Since I know from searching around the site (even in the Lunge) that there are several of us either currently with the Covids, or recovering from same, I figures one post could serve as a check in point and group update for well wishes, etc.

Myself, me and mine are finally just about over it, save a hangy on case of the sinus sniffles for me. 97 year old Ma-in-Law contracted it, but is hanging on, albeit not very well.

How are the rest of you Covid sufferers doing this Christmas Eve? Check in, please!

thankful that the current "variant" is not nearly as lethal as the early incarnations of this evil scourge. Hope you get better soon, and Merry Christmas anyway!

Paxlovid. It helped my wife get over it relatively quickly compared to me, since my doc only prescribed one of the two meds that is contained in Paxlovid. I think I need a new doc.

My wife home tested positive early in the week. The next day I tested negative but positive after that day and we both are still positive. Neither of us has had anything more symptomatic than a cold and slight fever off and on (99.7 max)If we hadn’t tested positive, we wouldn’t know we had anything other than a cold. We have only taken Tylenol and a daily boost of zinc and vitamin C per doctor’s direction. It is causing us to delay the family Christmas gathering until Tuesday though.
