I know that we're not going to get every 4*star 6'5" elite OT that we go after, but I surely hope that Thomas is one we do get. In his film he seems to have that mean streak that I do love seeing when the ball has been snapped!!!

could probably excel on either side of the ball, IMO. Thomas or Trey Smith,
either one would be huge for CU, correct.

we can take away is that Clemson seems to be in most every top recruits final cut to their top 3, or 5 or Top 10 schools.
Before Clemson could only dream of trying to get a talented kid like this one just to visit our university. Now we are in a position to be very selective as to who we accept and extend offers to.
IMO we have surpassed FSU, UGA, ND and in some cases Bama and most definitely we hoped jumped on Tenn and SC.
Did any of us believe we would ever be in this position??? Now the we must not let up or get complacent.

I'm all for being a Clemson homer, but saying we've passed Alabama and FSU in recruiting is a little much. They both have had their pick of recruits for many years now and have had better classes than us every year. We have closed the gap to almost nothing, but we haven't passed them quite yet.

Well anyone who doesn't think it's a great compliment to say the gap between those teams and us has closed to almost nothing, then I don't know what to say. Those teams have been powers in football forever and have won a bunch of national championships. It just shows how great of a job dabo and staff have done with this football program.

I would love to get this big fellow but after a quick look at his Twitter page, he's most likely Georgia bound. Nothing Clemson related and Dawgs everywhere. Hope I'm wrong....??
