What does everyone think about NCAA approving uniform patches for the upcoming season?
Seems like a slippery slope to start.
Didn’t like it when the NBA did it a few years back and don’t like it in CFB either.
Not looking forward to the big NewSprings logo on Clemson jerseys.

My assumption would be yes, but the actual terms of it I’m unsure about.
Like I don’t know if it would be a one time, flat fee to have the sponsorship or it would be a recurring payment to assure you keep the sponsorship on the jersey.
If I had to guess, I’d say it’ll probably be a contractual agreement of a one time fee for X amount of years of jersey sponsorship. Just like the NBA has it.

Man that would be awful lol.
Hopefully the NCAA puts a regulation on it to limit it to just a single patch, and hopefully they have parameters for it, so it doesn’t reach a certain size.

If Clemson choose to sell space on their jersey for a sponsor yes, they'd get paid handsomely for it.
Doesn't mean they or any other self respecting program should.
I'd be more fine with a field sponsor before we disgrace the jersey like that.

Unfortunately money talks and BullShhh walks.
So I’m sure self respecting or not, schools are going to jump at the chance to put on a huge Golden Arch McDonalds logo in the middle of their jersey.

The players should be allowed to wear any patch that is sponsoring them. Like NASCAR.🤘

I don't think that's how it would work. The school would sell the advertising as a whole and everyone would have that patch on their jersey. Not each player going out and selling space on their jersey.

I'm ok wuth a single patch, about the size of the bowl game patch. Your bowl game/post season patch should be the only time a school would be allowed a second patch.
