UNC ... they absolutely skated by egregious infractions and

they should have been dealt a crippling blow on both the Athletic side and the Academic side.
What they did was in fact a much more harmful actual transgression than anything Clemson did in the early 1980s.

ANY answer other than the tarholes is 100% completely wrong.

Based on reality and what they actually did.
They would also qualify as candidates based solely on doooooshiness. They would probably come in a VERY close second to 0310 state, however . . . .
Tarholes - death penalty - earned
Hurting Buckaroos - death penalty - doooooshiness

Yep. They should have been stripped of all scholarships relating to any program/sport that benefited from the fake classes. For 18 years.

at the expense of saving athletics by saying "these no-show classes are available to every student."
...so your academic institution is pure ####, then?

agreed ... it was unreal. It made no sense because the only way "every student" would be aware of it was if they were steered into it by the academic advisors.... which were the crux of the scam.
I mean, it makes less sense than this ACTUAL UNC system school mascot

I would say Scar but they do a good job of that on their own.
Gotta go with Ohio State as they're my #2 most hated team behind Scar.

Have you noticed that no other teams have been hit as hard As SMU and Clemson. The NCAA picks and chooses who they put on probation. You will never, ever see an SEC team, Notre Dame, or So.Cal. be put on major probation. No other conference cheats as bad as the SEC in my opinion.

There would be windfall of bluechips come our way if Georgia got the death penalty. The same cannot be said for any other program due to the distance from the recruiting hot bed that is the state of Georgia. Minimal benefits from any other program recieving the death penalty in comparison.

Ohio State for sure. Worst fanbase in the country that has had some of the worst coaches in football.
Gamecocks are the comedic relief of football. And you don't want to take away the comedy.

Perve State - ignoring child molestation is the absolute lowest. Add to it, still giving god-like adoration to the coach who allowed it to happen. If it had been one of his grandkids he would have beat the crap out of sandusky,

Penn State and Baylor both shouldn't have programs right now. But after the Penn State incident, I knew nobody will ever get the death penalty again from the NCAA. Truly was disappointing watching all that unfold with practically no punishment.

It would be the U of SC
They are irrelevant, but the fans don't understand that. It might take the Death Penalty to seal the deal of irrelevance.

Texas A & M with Jimbo Fisher! It is about time the NCAA caught up with him. Remember he left Florida State largely with recruiting questions mounting only to escape to A & M scott free!!!!

The aggies already paid 100 mil plus for theirs why would you want to give one away...do stupid things like moving to SEC, destroying storied rivalry,,dys your former conference when you were losing to most of them and then hire two idiot coaches in a row..sounds like Hollywood but it's just mesquite and scrub oak!
