Yep. Meanwhile, the Tigers sit by and are content with a QB that has zero competition. Look Cade is a starter, but it ends at starter. He is not elite and his improvement this season was marginal at best. We may very well get into tbe playoff, but we are being foolish if we think he is capable of winning us a natty. Horrible handling of QB situation for almost 3 seasons!!

Ok, but why would someone like McCall come to Clemson to compete for and very likely lose a QB1 battle? Legit QB transfers are looking for starter positions, not backup.

They lose a lot this year. McCall was a good pickup for them. I would have liked to see him at Clemson but he will not ride the bench for anybody. Remember, Dabo does not change QB's. Once you are penciled in as #1, you will stay there. See DJ.

Didn't TL16 win the natty freshman year?
How many freshmen started this year, at all positions?
