Wide receiver K.J. Brent has informed the South Carolina coaching staff of his intentions to transfer from the program. Brent, who is finishing his fourth year in the program, is slated to graduate this spring and transfer to another school.
Brent had nine catches for 111 yards last season. He played in all 13 games last season starting one. Rising senior Kane Whitehurst is also leaving the program, as reported on TheBigSpur.com on Monday night.

Clemson players leave the program to play elsewhere. Fans say, "Best of luck, you'll always be Tigers!"
Capon players leave to play elsewhere. UCS fans say, "Scrubs...we won't miss 'em."
Rarely have I seen the difference between Clemson and UCS more clearly defined than in this post. And never have I been more proud to have landed on the right side of that chasm.
