Dude, they’re just trying to build some excitement for the game.
Desmond is the antagonist this year. Desmond should be excited this year, I’d have too say, Michigan does have a good team this year, don’t get me wrong they’re still on the R.O.Y bus. I think this is they’re best shot at making the playoff and they’re best opportunity to beat Ohio St.
Go Tigers!!! We don’t need game days stamp of approval, WE TOO DEEP!!! +1 anyway for your love of the Tigers.

Agree...too many fans always looking for validation and trying to find disrespect where none is intended...at least not towards the team. If I were on the panel I might pick against a team just because I knew it would make their thin-skinned fans go nuts.

Name calling a guy for doing his job. His job is to get the fans going. That’s what makes game day fun. He said Clemson was a finesse team. If you listen to his reasoning he is right. He said a power run game is lining up running power plays. We run zone runs and counters. That’s all he was saying. Our fans went crazy over it and now he is going to keep poking them. He also said Michigan would win it all. Technically they have a chance. Seems like he pulls for his school just like our fans pull for Clemson.

I am in no way a thin skinned fan. Been through too many mediocre seasons the past 30 years, but Desmond's hatred for us this year is pretty evident.

Desmond does ZERO homework! Evident each time he's on the air. If it ain't Big Ten - he's totally UNAWARE. Saw him 2 weeks ago when they were talking playoffs & various scenarios now & in the future. Desmond said, "Suppose one year it's Clemson & FSU in the ACC Championship?" That would be a neat trick DEZZ!! It was so embarrassing, nobody even corrected him - just moved on. Howard's just a lazy dumbbell.

There was a time when I would get upset anytime Sammich would put us on upset alert, Gameday personalities would pick against us or they would either briefly mention us or skip over us altogether on College Football Final. I still think they're crazy when they pick against us, but it doesn't really bother me anymore bc we have proven on the field what type of program we are. No objective observer could argue against us being the premier program in the country outside of Bama. Most pundits admit this at some point even if they still put us on upset alert from time to time.
Outside of the pundits, opposing fanbases are jealous of our success and are always reaching for straws for a way to invalidate how good we are. It comes with the territory. I say embrace it.
