I've met a few people from Cleveland and they're all pretty close to how he is. I must admit, I have to admire how loyal and optimistic he/they are, after just continuous years of failure. For him, a .500 year is a huge success - a dream, whereas for us, we'd be calling for everyone's head.

Both root for (historically) bad performing teams but Cleveland fans of all sports will openly admit their team isn't very good and are pretty level headed about where their team stacks up.

NFL scout
Nov 5, 2013, 11:39 AM
|

NFL scouts really aren't supposed to talk to the media about things like this, and talking about juniors is a big no no. So out of respect for him actually taking the time to talk to me and share his thoughts, I can't put his name or organization. Getting one of them to even open up was something that doesn't happen often, so I can't throw him under the bus.

Nuk wasn't by a few people. His speed was said to be something that would make him fall to the second round or maybe the late first at best.

Was Sammy wide open on that play?
Can't be good for TB's draft status if an nfl scout doesn't think he is covering his bases

Steelers?
Nov 5, 2013, 1:25 PM
|

Someone with a high pick but not one extremely desperate for a QB. It's not going to be Jax, TB, Minn, etc.
If i were the Giants i would probably try to get Clowney to reestablish the pass rush that my team has been built around a known for over the last decade.
The Steelers have a lot of issues right now (most teams with that high of a draft pick do), including their defense, but they really need some weapons for Ben.
