I love big Tre, but I think he has gotten all he can from our program. Time for the young fellas to get some more playing time and Tre to use his last year of eligibility to transfer to a program that will give him more meaningful snaps for his draft stock.

I don't see any way it's good for us. He's not as strong as the other tackles, but he's very important depth and has the best technique of all the DLs. He's a real loss.

Tre's snaps were probably going to decrease. Especially if Cape comes back. The best thing for him is to transfer to a program where he can be a more featured piece of the defense.

We will take a step forward as a DT unit with Burley, Green, etc. getting more snaps.

He has his undergraduate degree

He’s didn’t do well enough to get a job right out of college so he’s moving on to a graduate program where he can learn more skills and become more marketable in his chosen career

This is the way the transfer portal should work imo

Got his degree, made his mark, and is leaving on good terms for a program where he can get more snaps and exposure.

Will be rooting hard for big Tre.
