in some of our fans. It seems the younger folks here have become that "entitled" fan who expects to win, talks trash then is angry the team's performance doesn't back their mouth. I have been going to games since 1973, was at the first NC game, had Danny Ford coached teams while I was a student, spent many years after graduation, while I was in the army, before the internet, searching the bottom line, just to see a Clemson score shown. I served with FSU fans, in the beginning of their ACC era, who, some of y'all, remind me very much of. I'm 54 now and will tell your that this run of success is cyclical and in each cycle, there are obstacles to overcome. My youth had team like Michigan, Southern Cal, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Penn State, Florida, Texas and a host of others who now rely on history as their Heyday. Those fan bases have been humbled by the recent past. I recommend we spend less time listening to the talking heads who make a living by creating a glowing narrative, then predicting a gloomy future, based off of 1 game. I have one team, Clemson's Tigers. We've been at the pinnacle and in the basement and one game, does not a season make. Be disappointed. Be realistic. Don't be an entitled fan who turns on the coaches and players because you're embarrassed that you talked smack and now have to eat crow. We are all better than that.....well, at least most of us are.
