I thought Allen was going to coach from the sideline and not from the box. Thought that was an issue at Penn st. that he wanted to be on the field but Franklin didn't want it. Maybe he wanted to watch the scrimmage from the box.

They have a passionate head coach as well as position coaches to do the rah rah part.
I hope Allen stays in the box and is like to see Riley move up there as well. They can see the field so much better there.

i don't know how to describe the 2023 and 2024 defensive sideline , but the motivation and energy was the exact same today . very disheartening
KJ Henry was the last time i remember seeing / hearing / and feeling a vocal leader yelling and amping every one up and that was a long time ago
we just don't have that magic on the sideline anymore
...
and people are going to say it's just a scrimmage
but i am always behind the defense even during games and it's just gone now .
the last time i saw it in Death Valley was KJ Henry during the first Scar loss

with the defensive lines they played - no . they could not tackle the runner . it was last year all over again.
but
Amare Adams- he is an eye test 100/10 . Heldt - great DE . and with Woods and Parker at DT
and with Jerimiah Alexander and Sammy Brown were both LBs ,
they will hit and play elite and Clemson looks like the Championship Clemson
each of those guys did great things solo / without that complete set today . together . watch out . good stuff ahead

The defense was rotating a lot and not allowed to tackle the QB or most of the receivers. Not sure what you expect but I have never been to a Spring game in the last 10 years and thought this was great. It’s always vanilla with a couple of highlights. The #1 qb never looks great and a backup always looks betters. If you base your expectations on what you see at a Spring game, boy are you ever surprised when the season begins.

I think having Dabo as the MC tells you all you need to know about how serious you take the spring game. Also, his post game comments indicate he is very pleased with the spring and where they are right now.
Lots of excitement to come when it really matters.
