Let's suppose Dabo is somehow able to pry Tom Allen away from Penn State.
Great defensive coordinator
Shared value systems and philosophy with Dabo
Former head coach who might be happy staying in one place for awhile
Runs 4-2-5 base, but very adaptable defense (can go 4-3-4 or 3-4-4). [EDIT: Corrected typo that said 4-3-3 and generated some wonderful responses]
Not the most aggressive style of defense, but not a huge transition from what we've had the last few years, but with a guy who is a much better coach (less analyst, more coach).
I'd be happy with that. Not sure it will happen, but it makes a lot of sense.

Yes ..... 4-3 with some nickel and occasionally dime. With a 4-3, with studs at the end and linebackers that do not always run around blocks we can finally stop runs around our perimeter. Every defense is going to have holes in it. Our corners are also going to have to be active against the run. I'll take anything over a three man front.

That if somehow he is the pick and at least once a DB/S forgets to be on the field... and we don't give up a first down on that play... thus the "4-3-3" actually happened and worked...
Then you must then label me the second coming of Nostradamus (I'm a physician too, so maybe its possible).
