ios got very stale. It's kicked new life into the interface. I think they should always change things up every 2 yrs or so.

You cannot honestly say Windows 8's flak is because

people dislike change. Windows 8 is clearly designed for touch screen tablets and phones and has no purpose for the desktop/enterprise environment.

I've only been on it for about 10 seconds. It didn't seem too bad to me. It seemed like I could still access stuff pretty easily. But yes, its more for touch now than computer.

Spend more than 10 seconds with it, and you'll realize it's actually not easy to access stuff.
I have it on a touchscreen laptop at home, and there's no easy way, from the desktop, to access the simple calculator in Windows. Sure, I could go to "Metro", download a calculator app designed for Metro and not the desktop, but why should I have to do that?

I didn't mind the previous version, so meh... I can take it or leave it. It's my first smartphone, and i've only had it for a year or so, so it's not "stale" to me.
I don't mind the change, but I didn't have a problem with it before either.
