We need to get in the ACC tournament and make the semis to get into the dance. Our inability to put the ball in play when we get men on base makes me think that will be a tough ask.....

the NCAA field. If we don’t make the ACC tourney then the rest is moot.
We’re in a pretty decent position to get into the ACC field.

I think we get in acc barely. Depending on how many wins we have going in then a few wins would for sure help but I think we get in the big show if we make acc.

So you genuinely think the 12th seed from the ACC gets in no matter what? You do know no more than 9 from a single conference have made it before? Because “we get in the big show if we make acc” would imply that being as low as 12th would be good enough. We were 8th in the ACC we a higher RPI and SOS the last time we were left out - btw.

It would surely surprise the heck out of me if they beat UVA even one time this weekend.
I mean to lose last night vs a Mid major, needing all the wins they can get .

Waste of time before the games against UVA because the only numbers that make a difference is whether we finish high enough in the ACC standings to make the tournament.
