Correct, Urban did not say that, he sent out a tweet to correct that misunderstanding. He was saying best current QB, "However" and many didn't hear the "how" part of that!!

When I first watched the clip, I thought he said "ever". I just went back and re-watched the clip, and I listened and watched his lips. I cannot hear or see him say two syllables. It appears to me clearly that he only said "ever". Just like Shannon's "Didn't he win the Heisman" quote, I think it was an off-the-cuff and unthought comment on his part, but the video is more accurate than his day-after clarification. A person with high integrity would have acknowledged it as being too lofty of a statement and moved on instead of trying to revise historical facts.

Seriously? The man that said the words are clarifying what he said and you think he is reversing himself? Look at the context of how however would have been perceived in his talking points. Brush up on your grammar and the fact that he said however will make better sense to you.

To my ears he said "ever". A lot of people got but hurt, and he dialed it back. Heaven forbid anyone question urb, he is famous for his integrity. (sarcasm alert)
But I digress, these two clowns are the WORST. Sharp thinks DW won the Heisman he deserved, and Tebow should be in the discussion of best college QB ever. Brainless thinks the Tour de France isn't a sport, but golf is. What a maroon.

Personally, listening to Shannon Sharpe talk makes my skin feel like I was scratching my fingernails on a chalkboard!!! Needless to say that I didn't hear a word he said. I may go back to the video and kill the sound, and use closed caption and just read what he had to say even though nothing he says means anything!!!!!!
