It is a pretty hard thing to do, I mean choosing to watch a team that you love with a piece that brings the entire team around him down. It's a shameful thing to be forced on the fans when knowing without a doubt that there's other choices that couldn't possibly be worse than DJ was in the SC cooter game!!!

Perhaps DJU was not the reason why the passing attack looked like Tommy West had taken over the program again, but there ought to be some answers. Can anyone go back in Clemson history and find a game where we had less than 100 yards passing the ball 29 times? Take out the one really good completion to Collins and we have less than 2 yards/attempt.

I took one for the team and watched some of it. It's patently obvious that something is seriously wrong here. His willingness to be so obviously disconnected from reality is kind of mind boggling.

Being that I haven't watched a one of their videos since the game clock run down in the 4th quarter last Saturday, I can't blame you for not watching their garbage. And all that money they get
from IPTAY is a total shame, and I would bet that everybody that works at IPTAY feels that Dabo pulled a fast one on them with some of those hires, Streeter, and Goodwin wasn't the only bad hires that Dabo has made over the past few seasons.

Here are some highlights, or should I say, lowlights:
-DJ is still the guy, he's earned it.
-The coaches are talking about maybe getting Cade some reps.
-We tried to get the ball to the tight ends, but those plays didn't work.
-We didn't execute at times and missed plays that were there.
-Streeter is upset about the loss.
-Losing was hard, but we accomplished a lot by winning 7 in a row and have an opportunity to bounce back this week.
-A lot of teams aren't able to play in a championship game this week.
-Football is the ultimate team sport, with 11 guys who are all doing a different job but need to work together.
-Some of the passes we missed were due to pressure getting to DJ faster than it should've.
-There isn't an exact number of carries planned for Shipley.
-Emphasizing the details as coaches, and holding players accountable for executing those details, is important.
-Our players have confidence.
-WRU is a great title to have, and I'd also say we are QBU, OLU, and a lot of positions that could say that.
-We have guys we can spread the ball around to.
-We continue to get better and grow from mistakes and miscues.

He needs to run for president an absolute gas lighting perfectionist. They honestly believe we are stupid there’s no explanation. Of course we will always be fans but if nothing changes they are going to be very surprised coming down the hill and seeing silver next year, especially with the prices of tickets these days.

Football is too much of a social event. Many people in the stands are there for the tailgating, socializing, family gatherings, etc.
If it were just about the football, you are probably right about fewer butts in seats if we continue our slide.

Streeter coach for the loss and got it. He should be fired on spot if Cade doesn't start versus Nancy. But props for his ND game tried Cade one time threw int but preferred DJs pick 6 then did moronic putting DJ back in.

It comes down to this:
Which QB can process the field quickly and make rapid, wise decisions to distribute the ball.
This is not an athletic skill, mostly.
DJ has lots of athletic skill, but he's not great at seeing and processing rapidly.
We haven't seen much of Cade, but in limited action he looks to be much better at this skill.
We don't have game-breaking WRs but we have enough weapons if we use them all optimally.
I'm sure the coaches know this, but once they go to CK, DJ is gone. DJ is good enough to get Clemson an ACC title and close to the playoffs, but that's about it.
CK has a bigger upside.

I guess I get starting DJ against the Heels, but definitely not in the bowl game. Cade would get tremendous experience for next year. Our secondary has to get better or Maye might throw for 450. These teams threw more yds than us.

I agree. DJ is no Lawrence or Watson, takes too long to read through his progressions and his RPO options are not always the best read. I can see it every time he plays, surely the coaches do too. I would assume they have watered-down the offense for his skill set, hence our lack of play calling. In the 2nd half, SC stacked the box on first and second down to stop the run, blitzed on 3rd down for the pass, Streeter never adjusted, kept running the same sequences, over and over. That is on him as the offensive coordinator!

DJU did not lose the game, but he did not win it either. There in lies the difference in average and a great QB. Rattler and other QB’s win games even with interceptions and errors because they make their teams believe they can win. It is an intangible quality that DJU apparently does not possess.

Streeter looks like a deer in headlights. He doesn't have a clue. He is only a YES man to Dabo. DJ is not a QB for this level. IF he was a leader as Dabo says then he would step aside for Best is the Standard and let Cade have a go at it. Any QB can hand the ball off all game. Not real hard to figure out what play is coming if you are on defense because QB1 couldn't throw it in the ocean from the shore. DJ is slow as pond water. He can't take the blitz or read the field. If not for the D we would be a whole lot worse now. Got to have a threat at QB because we don't have the high octane player to take a game over like Higgins, Renfro, Williams, Legette, Rogers, Etienne, Hopkins,Watkins, Gallman. WE HAVE THE SHIP AND HE GIVES US THE BEST CHANCE TO WIN, HE IS A BEAST. BUT HE CANT HELP IF YOU DONT PUT THE BALL IN HIS HAND. HE HAS THE HEART OF A CHAMPION.
