No doubt Pitt came out in a defense you weren't expecting. Not your fault, Tony!

A bad, pedestrian, predictable, unproductive high school offense. Watch any other offense in the country on any given Saturday, including all of our opponents this year, and you will say to yourself, why can't we do something that remotely resembles that offense?

ugh, no wonder the offense is so sluggish if it mimics the OC. These interviews can cure insomnia week after week. zzzzzz. Zero pep, fire, anger that we are doing bad. Just squint into the camera.... well, we'll look at the tape and see what we can do next week.... y'all be cool. $2M for this?
Just hoping we can beat south carolina at this rate.

OMG noooooo, that has to be something that will help Dabo see that for his best interest, he needs to hire an experience college OC.
Please don't let it have to be a loss to the coots bc, we will have hit rock bottom if that is what it takes for Dabo to do what's right as a HC, and for Clemson!!!
If losing to the coots is what has to happen before Dabo recognizes what has to be done, then he don't love Clemson the way the fan base thinks that he does!!!!
Also, BV and his defense can and will do an excellent job if our offense can score points and allow him to run his D as aggressive as he always has, when he don't have to keep throwing everything that he can come up with just to try to create scoring turnovers, and that is the position he has been put in, in about every game this season.
He has had to ask more from his players than a DC of his caliber should have ever ask only bc he hates losing, and it's bc his teams offense can't score enough point to win a low scoring game. If our offense could score at will like years past, some of these games we have lost, he defense would be pitching a shut out up until Dabo starts playing every player on the roster, that is what should have been the case with most game this season. If TE could have given this team a better offense, I believe we would be a 7-0 team today!!!!

It was time for that change to be made the very day that Jeff Scott told Dabo that he was taking the HC job USF. Just my opinion, but I truly believe that Dabo should have countered with, you take over with being #1 of the Co Coordinator job, and Tony can stay in the booth as #2, and letting you know what he is seeing from the booth, then you make the play call. In a situation like that, I believe that our offense would have been close to unstoppable from that point on.
Jeff grew up from a baby with offensive FB in his house, then on the field when he was big enough to follow his Dad, an offensive Coordinator at FSU in the days when FSU was a contender about every season. Jeff Scott IMO was the offensive mind when he and Tony was promoted to OC after the Chad left.
I know that it was just HS, but Jeff led Blythewood High School to a championship win in the very first season of Blythewood HS very first ever HS FB program. We could say that he got lucky, and that he put together a good HS coaching staff. We could say a lot of thing to why that happen to a first time HC at a HS, in it's first ever HS FB program. But the truth is, is that most of the credit for that accomplishment went to Jeff Scott, and that was bc he was mentored for that type of success from the day that he was born, and bc he loved being anywhere that his dad was, and that was on a FB field at FSU where his dad was a pretty dang good offensive coordinator himself, and Jeff followed his dads every step that ended up being at Clemson, after Brad couldn't win at usuc, where only one very experienced HC has won there.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Scott IMO, Dabo should have done what ever it took to keep Jeff Scott on his staff at Clemson, even if it would meant he had to fire Tony Elliott, I say this bc, I believe that Jeff was the best offensive mind of him and Tony!!!

Name a D1 OC who can't remember the plays that happened in

a game until he watches the film.
Also like the line about the three straight passes "Obviously on on third down you pass trying to pick up the first".....UNLESS TP IS IN THE GAME PASSING WELL AND YOU RUN HIM ON A 3RD AND LONG.
Just put the man out of his misery already Dabo.

Why does TE always look like he is on the verge crying every time he is interviewed after a game?

Because he knows he in way over his head, and he's feeling that 2 mil slipping out of the reach of the hand that has been depositing those checks in his bank account while living the high life, and I'm not talking about having a Miller beer every afternoon. Well actually, some of his play calling seems that he has had a few to many Miller High Life beers before he went up to the press box, and that could be dangerous in the old press boxes that didn't have a glass window to view from!!!

I surely hope that nobody is in shock if TE refuses to own up to his part of responsibility for the way our offense is responding/playing, he never has, and he will say or do what protects his 2 mil a year salary.
He may not be a great OC, but he isn't stupid either, he's not going to quit, or admit to anything that could jeopardize that 2 mil a year just bc fans believe he should own up to his faults, he won't ever do that bc, he isn't sure that he can fix his faults!!!!
